2021 NTF SCHEDULE (pdf)
DownloadThank you to Advanced Office Supply, our print schedule sponsor.
Parking has always been precarious at best for the National Trout Festival® but the committee and the Kalkaska Area Transit hope their efforts will help tremendously.
On both Friday and Saturday (April 23 & 24) of the Fest, KAT will be running a free, looping shuttle with five pick-up/drop-off points. Beginning at noon each day and running through 8 pm, festival goers may park at the municipal parking lot on Third and Walnut Streets (south end boarding), Calvary Baptist Church at 815 W. Dresden Street, the Kalkaska Middle School parking lot on W. Dresden, or the Kalkaska Church of Christ at 1725 W. Kalkaska Rd. The Fairgrounds pick-up/drop-off point will be on the west side of the Kaliseum parking lot near the deep ditch. Signage will be at each location. KAT expects each loop will be complete in 15 minutes, so the wait isn't long compared to trying to find parking on the Fairgrounds. As a reminder, there is also parking available on Friday evening and Saturday at Birch Street Elementary, Kalkaska High School, and the various governmental agencies along Birch Street. Although there is a parking lot at the Kaliseum, there are events and activities happening there so please allow those attendees to park in that lot. The Kalkaska Sheriff's Department and Kalkaska Village Department of Public Safety will be cordoning off restricted parking areas and any violators will be towed at the owner's expense.
