Another successful National Trout Festival® is in the books! Thank you to our business community (see lists below) who come through every year with sponsorships. Our appreciation goes out to our community partners. Some provide an additional event during Trout Fest (like the WinterFest Craft Show) OR give support, such as the police departments within our county. We have a small group of volunteers; those who sign up and those who show up from an early morning plea on Facebook. You all rocked! Thank you! We also have to give a shout out to everyone who attended the National Trout Festival® this year, whether one event or all of them. Your attendance means the event continues on.
Finally, to our board, who works tirelessly to make sure the National Trout Festival® happens every year, changing things that don't work, bringing in new programs, and supporting our community organizations that need to raise money by including their events in our schedule and advertising.
Officers: President Diana Needham, Vice President Sandy Joslin, Secretary Deb Ball-Odeh, Treasurer Jodi Magee
Directors: Damien Allen, Dan Bloomquist, Patty Cox, M.R. Giloolly, Jessica Rindlisbacher, Monte Rindlisbacher (Recording Secretary)
Join us for NTF 2024, April 24th through 28th!
The National Trout Festival® consists of events, activities, and parades that take place mainly at the Kalkaska County Fairgrounds and downtown at Railroad Square in the 300 block of Cedar St. We welcome several community groups as partners that offer a variety of events during the five-day festival. You will find info in our schedule and more details on this website. Rise & Shine; It's Fishing Time!
Congratulations to KHS Student Emily Willis for having her artwork chosen as the 2024 National Trout Festival® logo!
Emily's design will be featured on this year's tee shirts, sweatshirts, mugs, and festival pins, all available at the Trout House in April. She will receive NTF Swag along with a $100 cash prize!
Thank you so much for sharing your talent and being so easy to work with, Emily!
Sponsorships are an integral part of our Festival's success. We are very lucky to have many businesses in our community willing to support this endeavor. Our gratitude goes out to each and everyone of them. If you have an opportunity to show your appreciation to this year's NTF sponsors, please do so.
If you would like information about becoming a National Trout Festival sponsor, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The date is approaching fast and we’re making preparations. Don’t miss out!
Thank you for joining us for the 86th National Trout Festival®! The Board of Directors will start working on the 2024 Festival in May. Please, send us a message if you would like to get involved. We always need more volunteers and there is room for a couple dedicated people to serve on the board. We look forward to the 87th, April 24-28, 2024!
